First learn what all the parts are and what they do. You also learn about the tools and accessories that came with it. Then we thread it! We?ll walk through the manual along side the machine so you can learn to thread your serger. Lastly, you start to sew, learning how to adjust the tensions for a balanced stitch.

101: Beginner Sewing: Pants

In the pants class, you learn all the skills needed to make a great pair of lounge or pajama pants. Learn how to choose and prepare the correct size pattern, cut out your fabric and mark all the pieces. You then learn how to sew straight and curved seams, finish seam allowances, insert elastic, and make a clean hem. In the end, you?ll have a fabulous pair of pants!

103: Beginner Sewing: Shirt

In the shirt class you'll build on skills from the previous classes to make a button front shirt. You'll really ramp up your knowledge and confidence! Learn how to apply interfacing, make a crisp collar, set sleeves, and apply patch pockets. You'll also learn how to make buttonholes (not scary!) and sew on buttons. At the end of this class, you'll have a great pajama top!

Professional Tote

The Professional Tote has all the pockets and compartments needed for today?s busy woman. There is a pleated pocket on each side for a water bottle or phone. For travel, there is a front zippered pocket for ID and Passport, and a large pocket with optional luggage strap on the back. Inside is a large center dividing pocket and room for a laptop. There are also several inside pockets for small items and a zipper closure to keep your contents safe.
