Heidi Nesheim

I began sewing in 7th grade and basically never stopped. I made my first quilt while in 10th grade and then dabbled in quilt making after college. Throughout college I make a lot of clothes from simple dresses, pants, and skirts to fully line wool suits. When it became cheaper to purchase ready made clothing I focused on quilt making. I have made approx. 150-200 quilts (I did not always log when I made a quilt). I love finding new patterns and different techniques, with new rulers, templates, and traditional piecing with a twist. I enjoy the quilting community, my friends push me to try something new. It is amazing to find out there is something new that I did not know how to do. I have taught friends how to make quilts and now enjoy teaching new and experienced quilters.
